Peter Alexander – November 19, 1941-August 9, 2025
Pete Alexander, 83, of Creighton Mine, Ontario, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2025. A Chartered Accountant by profession, Pete co-founded Trulite Industries Ltd. in 1975 and helped build it into one of the most respected names in the industry. His leadership, keen business acumen, and unwavering commitment to excellence left a lasting mark on colleagues, clients, and the Canadian glass landscape. Trulite was sold to Arch Aluminum & Glass in 2007, and Pete retired shortly thereafter. In July 2011, Arch adopted the Trulite name for its group of North American glass and aluminum operations, thereby carrying forward the well-respected Trulite name. Pete enjoyed his homes in Toronto, Florida and his cottage in Ontario in his retirement years. He is survived by his beloved wife, Julie, his daughter, Nikki, and many close relatives and friends. A private family service will be held, with a celebration of life to follow at a later date. Donations in Pete’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
