Bursary Award

In the spring and fall of each year, the OGMA provides a monetary award to a student enrolled in the apprenticeship program of the Ontario Industrial & Finishing Skills Centre in Vaughan, Ontario. The instructing staff selects recipients at the centre based upon criteria that includes displaying exemplary skills, aptitude and attitude along with a willingness to assist and share ideas with others. In 2022, the OGMA merged with the Architectural Glass & Metal Contractors Association (AGMCA) to increase the bursary to $1,000 twice a year.
