In January 2025, Steven Ringler, the past president of OGMA, presented a $750 cheque to the Finishing Trades Institute of Ontario (FTI). This donation was made from the proceeds of the 2024 OGMA Fall Plant Tour at UL Solutions Canada. Thank you to all who attended the tour and made this donation possible. The FTI plans to use the funds to purchase equipment for their students. Receiving the cheque from Mr. Ringler (pictured left) were instructors Mike Pentz, Glazing Instructor (centre), and James Clifford, Glazing/Health & Safety Instructor (right).
